About Me
I was blessed to live in Venice for 40 years. Back in the 70s, I started painting the canals. One Christmas, I created calendars of my paintings as gifts and called them the Venice Canalendars. Today, they remain a genuine labor of love.
I painted the canals of yesteryear--back when the sidewalks were crumbling and the banks were lined with quaint, one-story cottages--not a McMansion in sight. Mostly, my works depict simpler times, living on the "Retro Canals."
